We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Security Manager based in Birmingham, B4 7BD. We are looking for someone who has the ability to manage the provision of Security & Business support services to clients ensuring specific contract and Company performance targets, both financial and operational, are consistently met and/or exceeded. Establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships is essential, as has the ability to keep up-to-date with market changes and opportunities such that Corps Security is retained as the security provider of choice to our customers. Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure Experience in leading/managing multi-site contracts. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel) Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards What are you going to do: Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of a team of Security Officers Through direct site visits and/or via the Duty Managers - via SMART Task, ensure the safety & well-being of both customer staff & Corps colleagues Safeguarding of company assets to include people, buildings, and information Implementation of Security policies Undertake security threat & risk assessments Undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the Client or Corps Security Management Team Identify practical areas for personal development of the team, which can be implemented in conjunction with the Contract Manager. To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including: goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning, and monitor attendance / timekeeping Effective rostering of site personnel.
