An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school community in Bournemouth.
This is a term-time only, full-time role supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, with the potential to start earlier than September for the right candidate.

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide essential technical support to the Science department.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of practical science lessons, supporting both staff and students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and organising lab equipment and materials for practical experiments
* Supporting teachers during lessons with in-class technical assistance
* Maintaining health and safety standards, including chemical storage and COSHH compliance
* Managing science resources, stock levels, and equipment maintenance
* Contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
