Job Outline
:
The prime responsibility of the role is to service EMEA sample requests in order to support demand creation activities by delivering samples to customers in a timely manner.
You will be responsible to action requests effectively and efficiently, demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, able to analyse how best to procure stock.
The role interfaces regularly with other departments within Future such as Sales & Engineers, Business Development Managers, Asset Managers, EMEA Distribution Centre and its support team as well as manufacturers thus effective communication is essential.
What the role involves
:
•Daily review/qualification of sample requests to ascertain whether they can be supported and fulfilled
•Daily review of pending sample requests where pending feedback from various sources
•Manage daily procurement of product to effectively support sample needs whether from stock, ordering it direct from manufacturers websites or generate a sample order for Marketing/Asset to action
•When procuring sample stock directly from manufacturers, ensure all non- line items are created correctly and as per company specification
•Placing Purchase orders through the Inventory Management System for receiving purposes
•To ensure we stock parts published in Future's Technology Magazine ( FTM ), any that are New Product Introduction ( NPI ), High Runners from CRM and those advised by Supplier Development Managers ( SDM )
•Daily review/resolution of EDC sample discrepancy issues using internal system such as WCP client, in view of prompt resolution.
•Weekly review of approved sample backorder to ensure consistent follow up process to enable prompt shipment
Do you have:
•Ideally, one year experience in an office environment with customer service background
•Knowledge of CRM/Associates/WCP would be beneficial, but not essential
•Demonstrates self-management and ownership to obtain effective completion in a timely manner.
•Demonstrates high level of analytical ability and common sense
•Excellent organisation skills. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
•Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Confident at training & interacting with different people
•Embraces learning of systems and processes
