Job Title: Graduate consultant – Environmental Services

Compensation: £34,500 / year
Location flex: Across the UK, including London, Bath, Bristol, Plymouth, Fareham, Leeds, Glasgow and Aberdeen. Ability to work across BMT offices and customer sites throughout the UK.
Security clearance: This role will require Security Clearance. To be eligible you must be a British-born sole national and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
About the Role
Within the Environmental Management and Sustainability (EM&S) team, you will be involved in a wide variety of projects across a range of industry areas. You will work alongside our consultants and engineers, providing environmental management services to our customers. You will conduct environmental impact assessments, produce environmental management plans, aspects and impacts registers, legislation registers and environmental case reports. You will receive training and guidance from experienced colleagues and will be supported to start your journey within BMT.

What you will need
* A desire to make a difference in your chosen field.
* A degree in a relevant field such as environment, sustainability, marine biology, oceanography, geography or engineering. A Masters’ degree would be an advantage.
* An interest in developing skills to align with our services and to work across various markets.
* Dedication to providing first-class service to clients and ambition to gain Chartered status.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent team-building skills.
* Ability to work with a flexible and hybrid team.
* Beneficial (not essential): knowledge of environmental impact assessment processes, understanding of environmental and sustainability legislation, awareness of environmental management systems and marine sustainability issues for maritime platforms and infrastructure.
