About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee (SAFE) within our National Branch Network, part of the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt position, and successful completion of the Branch Manager Readiness program is required to transition into a managerial role based on branch vacancies. Please note that current Associate Branch Managers (ABM) or Branch Managers (BM) will not participate in this program.
As a Branch Manager, you will lead, manage, and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability. You’ll drive a customer engagement process that enhances the customer experience and promotes business growth while ensuring operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
* Coach and develop a high-performing team to execute business strategies and achieve results.
* Resolve customer and employee experience issues to meet Branch Network objectives.
* Identify opportunities to simplify banking for customers through education and digital options.
* Engage stakeholders and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience.
* Mentor and guide talent development of your team and assist in hiring.
* Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
* 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience.
* 2+ years of leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing team members.
* A knack for building and inspiring adaptable, collaborative teams.
* Ability to analyze performance and empower employees to achieve business goals.
* Strong critical thinking skills to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Experience in coaching across various customer segments.
* Proven ability to build effective relationships with customers and partners.
* Extensive experience in identifying complex financial needs and providing solutions.
* Knowledge of banking industry laws, compliance controls, and risk management.
* Integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
* Relevant military experience is a plus.
Job Expectations
* Willingness to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months.
* This position requires SAFE registration upon employment.
