This is an excellent opportunity to join a global, world-leading organisation as a Sustainability Site Manager. You will establish, develop, and deliver all aspects of sustainability (Environmental, Social, and Governance - ESG) strategy and initiatives in line with company objectives and global standards.
The role involves providing strategic leadership, expert knowledge, and guidance on integrating sustainable practices into engineering projects, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and helping clients achieve their sustainability goals. The Sustainability Manager will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver solutions that balance environmental impact, innovation, and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sustainability strategies for manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and certifications.
* Provide expert advice on energy optimization, carbon reduction, waste management, and resource efficiency to clients.
* Oversee sustainability aspects of projects, coordinating with teams to integrate sustainable design principles.
* Conduct sustainability assessments, life cycle analyses, and energy audits.
* Manage environmental risks, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout project lifecycles.
* Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams within the consultancy.
* Support business development efforts and represent the consultancy at industry events.
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications preferred.
* Experience in sustainability management and knowledge of manufacturing practices.
* Proficiency in sustainability software and data analysis tools.
* Strong communication, project management, and client engagement skills.
