Are you a passionate and experienced Veterinary Receptionist looking for an exciting opportunity in Croydon? Look no further! Here at Croydon Veterinary Surgery, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our incredible team as a Veterinary Receptionist. Our practice is renowned for delivering exceptional care and service to our clients and their lovely pets.
Located between Southwest London and Surrey, our practice is home to certificate-holding surgeons and highly skilled GPs with strong interests in surgery, medicine, imaging, and more.
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, the friendly face they see when entering our doors, greeting clients with a smile and giving their pets a good old fuss. You'll assist with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general support. This is a full-time position with a mix of shifts between 8.30am to 7.30pm with 1:3 Saturday mornings.
Your Day at Croydon Veterinary Surgery Could Include
* Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
* Book appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
* Help to promote our Healthcare Plan so pets receive premium discounted preventative treatment
* Booking in follow-up appointments for the pet after initial consultation
* Assist the Vet and Nurse team with queries
* Ensure paperwork is scanned onto digital records
* Liaison with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection
* Ordering food and medication
* Taking payment after treatment; 0% finance application processing for clients wishing to spread costs for larger operations
* Managing a busy reception desk with efficiency, professionalism, and handling emails and social media inquiries
About You
* Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary or Medical industry
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; strong organisational abilities and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
* Proficiency with computer systems and software
