Wood Machinist Required - Wednesbury The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Wood Machinist on behalf of our well-established client based in Wednesbury.
This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.
Pay
Pay Rate £12.21 per hour
Working Hours
Working Hours Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30; Friday: 07:00 - 14:30
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a range of woodworking saws including circular saws, band saws, hand saws, and table saws
- Cutting and shaping wooden components according to instructions and measurements
- Ensuring accuracy and quality of finished pieces
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience operating woodworking saws is essential
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements
- Understanding of health and safety procedures when operating machinery
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
