Salary £25,298 p/a

Job Role
As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the day‑to‑day operations. You will be the initial point of contact for carers accessing the service, undertaking triage based conversations to identify needs and providing up‑to‑date information and advice to carers, referring them to the Carer Support Workers when appropriate. You will also support planning and arranging peer group, carer activities and training sessions.
This role is primarily telephone‑based, involving ongoing contact with carers, professionals and partner organisations throughout the day, including coordination and management of Emergency Support Plans. In addition to handling general office tasks such as answering phones and dealing with ad‑hoc queries, you will assist with rota management.
Key Responsibilities
* Initial point of contact for carers accessing the service
* Conduct triage based conversations to identify needs
* Provide accurate, up‑to‑date information and advice to carers
* Refer carers to Carer Support Workers when appropriate
* Support planning and arranging peer group, carer activities and training sessions
* Coordinate and manage Emergency Support Plans
* Answer phones and handle general office tasks
* Assist with rota management
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous administration experience
* Good IT skills and knowledge of Office 365
* Strong telephone skills
* Ability to work independently while managing sensitive and urgent situations calmly and professionally
* Experience within a health and social care setting is an advantage but not essential
* No specific qualifications are required
