This is an exciting time to be joining the Clinical Support Services Division as we embark on a journey of transformation and innovation. The CSS division covers Oncology & Haematology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Radiology, Cardiorespiratory and Therapies at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. The team is friendly, innovative and business focused, located at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, The Princess Royal Hospital, and the Community Diagnostics Centre, Telford, with leadership from Anna Martin, Director of Operations, and Dr Angus McGregor, Divisional Medical Director.
Partnership working is key to this role. You will work with internal and system partners to ensure services are optimised to support patient experience across our Trust and System, using your collaborative and influencing skills to deliver business as usual and support major projects and transformation work, including HTP. The post holder will act as Deputy Divisional Director of Operations, CSS and as a member of the CSS leadership team, contributing to decision making within the Division and supporting major transformation projects, business cases, plans and assurance, as required; and supporting the Centres in deploying robust demand and capacity models.
Your portfolio includes diagnostic services that support our Planned and UEC Pathways within SaTH and the community. You will be responsible for Radiology (including Cardio-Respiratory), Pathology, and the Community Diagnostics Centre hosted on behalf of our Integrated Care System. You will work with CSS Centre Leadership Teams, SaTH Divisional Colleagues, Corporate Services, the Executive Team and STW System partners to develop the maturity and visibility of CSS transformation programmes. The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) is the main provider of acute hospital services for people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid-Wales.
The successful candidate will contribute to key strategic developments for the benefit of residents of Shropshire and mid-Wales; they will have an innovative and persuasive approach, clinical focus and experience in creating the business case and project plans for approved schemes. Responsibilities

You will oversee the portfolio comprising diagnostic services that support Planned and UEC Pathways within SaTH and the Community Diagnostics Centre hosted for the Integrated Care System.
