Role Overview
The Senior Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal operation of air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems across the Sewell Facilities Management property portfolio. This role involves managing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including general repairs and upkeep of splits, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, and refrigerated display and storage cabinets.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct reactive and planned maintenance for air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
* Respond to reactive tasks allocated by our Customer Care Team, ensuring all properties managed by Sewell Facilities Management are maintained to a high standard.
* Coordinate with and oversee external contractors as required to meet the needs of the business and role.
* Identify, report, and repair defects, ensuring maintenance standards are met.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times to maintain a legally compliant property portfolio.
Requirements

* Full UK driving license
* F-Gas certification
* Positive & professional attitude
* Proactive approach to maintenance
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Willingness to learn and develop
* Flexible working hours
* Strong knowledge of health & safety practices
* Level 2 & 3 NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
* First aid trained
* Knowledge of BMS (building management systems)
* Experience with plumbing & heating systems
