To achieve this, we are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical support, expertise, and leadership within our Contract Manufacturing Organisation, with focus in the Medical Device Sector. You will act as technical leader for product change requests as well as define and lead multiple high impact change projects across the manufacturing network with the aim of managing sustainability and aiding continuous improvements, developing current and future growth and overall cost reduction. What will you be doing? Supporting the Advanced Wound Management (AWM) portfolio, within the Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) through change control management. Providing technical input on the management of component and material obsolescence's, qualifying alternative parts for systems and driving regulatory compliance through collaborative engagement with suppliers and SN SMEs. Contributing, identifying and driving changes to lead our manufacturing cost base through delivery of profit improvements that support annual PPV and Efficiency targets. Driving compliance through adherence to applicable standards, e.g. IEC 60601, MDD/MDR. Owning product delivery and maintaining service to our customers as an integral member of the Engineering team and wider CMO function. Proactively integrate product improvements within programs through data and customer feedback. What will you need to be successful? Our successful candidate will be degree educated in a relevant STEM discipline and have appropriate work experience in high-volume industry roles focused on cost saving, efficiency, and operational improvement projects using statistical tools. They will have extensive project management experience with an understanding of Lean/Six-Sigma techniques and confidence in communicating to internal and external personnel, including outside regulatory bodies (FDA). Experience in the medical sector, specifically medical device industry and/or experience operating in an FDA regulated industry would be highly advantageous. You.
