About the School and Role
We are seeking an experienced general cover teacher who is confident leading pre-set lessons and ensuring learning continues smoothly when the usual class teacher is absent. This role is ideal for a general cover teacher who enjoys variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work across a range of secondary school settings.
This opportunity is particularly suited to teachers who are:
1. Stepping back from full-time contracted teaching
2. Moving towards retirement
3. Balancing teaching with other professional or personal commitments

Requirements
The desired general cover teacher will have:
4. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
5. Experience working in a classroom or similar educational setting
6. Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
7. Eligibility to work in the UK (valid visa required)
8. A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
