Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a portfolio of products.
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development to gather market intelligence.
* Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities.
* Utilize statistical forecasting models and software to generate accurate predictions.
* Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust based on performance and market changes.
* Identify and communicate potential supply chain risks or opportunities.
* Participate in S&OP meetings to present forecasts and reconcile demand with supply.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle Demantra) and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Bonus Qualifications
* APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
* Experience with a specific ERP system (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Cloud SCM)
* Proficiency in advanced statistical modeling or machine learning for forecasting
* Project management experience, particularly in system implementations or process improvements
