As a Freelance Essential Skills ICT Tutor, you’ll help young people achieve maths qualifications that unlock jobs, training and further study. About Get Set UK Get Set UK supports people to develop skills, confidence and stability for work.We deliver employability and skills services that help individuals move into and remain in employment, working closely with employers and partners across the UK. What Will You Do? You will: Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned to the Essential Skills curriculum. Deliver and assess accredited ICT qualifications. Build digital confidence for learners with different starting points. Maintain records, safeguarding and compliance standards. Support progression into work, training or education. What you will bring You will bring: Experience in delivering Essential Skills ICT in the past. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Hold a GCSE (A-C) or equivalent in Maths and English (or Level 2 Essential Skills) Hold a recognised teaching qualification in line with ES Circular 01/12 A genuine interest in helping people build skills, confidence and independence We recognise that people bring different experiences and career paths.
