GP Rota Management: Booking locums, creating and amending clinics and slot types, and loading clinics into EMIS. Absence Management: Monitoring holiday and sickness, managing absence phone and email on a rota basis, and resolving attendance issues. Compliance & Safety: Conducting audits (including 2-week wait audits, scorecard spot checks, and appointment availability), ensuring sites meet safety requirements. Facilities Oversight: Organising and tracking supplier invoices, managing room occupancy, arranging and overseeing site checks (fire safety, legionella, PAT testing), and coordinating site maintenance and repairs.
Clinical Systems Support: Uploading clinics into EMIS, including nursing and enhanced access clinics. Recruitment & HR Support: Assisting with recruitment, completing HR checks, supporting inductions for new clinical staff, and setting up system access. Team & Supplier Liaison: Acting as a point of contact for practice staff and external suppliers, ensuring prompt responses to emails and queries. Administrative Duties: Managing splits of admin shares between GPs, pharmacists, and other staff.
