Retail Store Supervisor Opportunity – Drive Customer Service and Store Standards
As a Store Supervisor at Fred Perry, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Management team to deliver an outstanding in-store experience. You will help coach and lead store colleagues, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to creating a welcoming and energetic retail environment. Key Responsibilities for Store Supervisor in Retail
* Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager by supervising daily store operations, including floor management and team coordination.
* Lead by example as a brand ambassador, providing a personal and engaging experience to every customer that enters the store.
* Coach and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
* Assist in managing till operations, accurate cash handling, and ensuring all policies are adhered to during your shift.
* Maintain a safe, tidy and welcoming retail environment, upholding health and safety, security, and loss prevention standards.
* Drive high standards in product merchandising and visual presentation across key areas of the store.
* Respond proactively to customer needs and provide feedback to management to strengthen the retail offer.
* Deputise for Store or Assistant Manager as required, ensuring continuity of leadership and smooth store operations.
* Process new stock efficiently, support regular stocktakes, and report any discrepancies following company procedures.
* Complete any additional duties assigned by Store Management to support overall store performance and team development.
Essential Skills and Experience for Retail Supervisor Roles
* Previous experience in retail, ideally with some supervisory or team leader exposure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, supporting a positive and inclusive team culture.
* Confident in customer service and sales, with a proactive approach to delivering on targets and KPIs.
* Organised and adaptable, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
* High attention to detail, especially regarding till operations, product presentation, and stock handling.
* Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the Fred Perry brand, with a desire to learn and grow within our retail community.
* Willingness to work flexibly to the store schedule, including weekends and peak trading periods.
