Temporary Accounts Assistant (Sage 50)
Location: Kidderminster
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm (Part-Time)
Duration: 2 weeks (potential to be extended)
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant who is available to start immediately to provide cover during a period of sick leave. The successful candidate will have strong all-round accounts knowledge and be confident working with Sage 50.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing purchase invoices through our paperless system
2. Credit control duties, including chasing overdue payments
3. Processing supplier payments
4. Sending customer statements
5. Allocating bank payments
6. Preparing and submitting HMRC payments
7. Supporting VAT returns
8. Handling incoming calls
9. General office administration as required
Requirements:
10. Proven experience in an accounts role
11. Proficiency in Sage 50
12. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
13. Good communication and organisational skills
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
15. Availability to start immediately
