Are you an electrical or mechanical biased engineer with experience in power generation machinery, or a strong engineering background looking to increase your knowledge and skill set?
This role allows you to become a true technical specialist in a critical engineering environment, working with the latest power generation technologies. Earn a competitive package while receiving official OEM training and progressing into more senior positions. The company is heavily involved in the UK's transition to a net-zero economy and has a diverse client portfolio within critical power generation infrastructure.
This manufacturer has a global presence across industries such as Power Generation, Marine, Rail, Aviation, and Nuclear. The division specializes in power generation to provide low-carbon solutions for client infrastructure. They prioritize staff development and internal progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service, maintenance, breakdowns, and commissioning
* Working on CHP’s, GAS Engines, UPS, and renewable energy systems
* Electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repairs (UPS, ComAp, three-phase systems, drives, motors, PLCs, engines)
* Customer-facing role, Monday to Friday, covering the surrounding territory
* Experience working with 450KW+ systems
* Familiarity with CHP, Diesel or Gas Engines, Generators, UPS, Industrial Plant, or similar
* Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Marine Engineer
* Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or equivalent (NVQ, HNC, etc.)
