From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Senior Monitoring Analyst to allow us to continue our exciting growth plans.

The Role
As a Senior Monitoring Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Compliance Department to ensure Propel Finance meets its regulatory, legal, and governance obligations. You’ll be responsible for delivering day-to-day monitoring and quality assurance activity, identifying risks, assessing control effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement across the business.
This is a hands-on role that offers real visibility and influence, working closely with stakeholders across Propel.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver thematic monitoring reviews, file checks, and QA testing in line with the monitoring framework
* Document and escalate findings, recommending practical remedial actions and tracking completion
* Support the preparation of monitoring reports and management information
* Recommend enhancements to the monitoring framework and identify potential topics for future thematic reviews
* Provide timely regulatory guidance to colleagues and contribute to fraud prevention activity
* Maintain accurate monitoring records and documentation
* Work collaboratively across the business to promote compliance understanding
* Support training, development, and initiatives that embed a strong culture of compliance and accountability
About You
You’ll bring a curious, analytical mindset and a genuine interest in regulatory compliance, alongside:
* Previous experience in a compliance, assurance, or risk role within financial services
* A good working knowledge of FCA regulation
* Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
* A proactive, inquisitive approach with a willingness to learn and improve
