We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Highpoint, a category C prison located in the village of Stradishall in Suffolk.
Highpoint is a male prison with a capacity of 1,370 males.
Highpoint Prison offers:

Hours:
* Monday - Sunday service, 37.5 hours per week
* 7:45 am - 6:15 pm
* Every other weekend and bank holiday included as part of rota
* 4-week rolling rota
* Open to discussing lower hours
This position is full-time, with an annual salary up to £42,000 - £45,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. Due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Main duties of the job
* Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver a nurse-led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
* Seek out, listen to, and act on patient feedback to ensure care is personalized and informed by what matters to them
* Deliver non-judgmental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework
* Inspire excellence by forging strong links with partners and stakeholders, and providing a trusted, safe, and proud service
* Provide evidence-based care and promote continuous quality improvement, fostering a culture of shared learning
