Delivery Postie with Driving. Job reference: 325728. Location: Billericay Delivery Office, CM12 9AA. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 36:00 or 40:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday to Sunday with 2 rolling days off, between 07:00 and 15:00. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturdays and Sundays. On Sundays, you will be required to work from the Brentwood delivery office.

Responsibilities
* Deliver mail and parcels to homes and businesses as part of a local community route.
* Walk for long periods and work outside in all weather conditions.
* Provide excellent customer service and act as a friendly local representative.
* Adhere to delivery schedules and operational requirements, including weekend work and Sunday assignments from the Brentwood delivery office as needed.
A bit about you
* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
* Organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
* People-person with a friendly face in the community.
* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather.
* Strong sense of community and pride in your work.
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £12.54 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours if part time).
* Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for more than 40 hours a week.
