About the role:
We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to work as part of a close and supportive Operations team within Strategic Pumping and Trunk Sewers. You will focus on maintaining and improving our strategic pumping stations across North-East London and supporting the team on larger-scale projects. No prior water industry experience required. We welcome applications from candidates outside the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas.
This role is essential front-line, performing activities to ensure all plant and equipment associated with strategic pumping stations and trunk sewers in London are kept serviceable, safe, and efficient.

What you’ll be doing as the Process Technician:
* Completing routine checks, basic planned preventative maintenance, and problem-solving for smooth station operation.
* Monitoring plant efficiency and identifying trends.
* Performing safety tasks, including statutory testing for legionella, fire, and housekeeping.
* Operating large storm pumping stations to manage customer networks.
* Operating mechanical equipment for safe plant and hydraulic flow isolations.
* Conducting confined space inspections, maintenance, and fault finding.

Working Pattern:
38 Hours, Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 15:36pm, with standby & overtime opportunities for additional pay.
