About the Role
As an Associate Medical Writer, you’ll play a vital role in crafting clear, engaging, and accurate scientific content across a range of therapy areas. This is an entry-level position offering exceptional training and mentorship to support your development into a confident and independent medical writer.
You’ll work closely with experienced writers, medical editors, and account managers, contributing to a wide variety of deliverables—from slide decks and digital content to meeting materials and strategic publications.
Key Responsibilities
* Research, write, and edit scientifically accurate materials for a range of audiences (HCPs, patients, internal stakeholders)
* Ensure content is aligned with client objectives, scientific data, and compliance guidelines
* Participate in team brainstorming and concept development
* Collaborate with internal teams to meet timelines and project goals
* Attend internal and client meetings to develop a strong understanding of brand strategy and messaging
* Receive and implement feedback from senior writers and reviewers
* Develop a strong understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice and other relevant guidelines
What We’re Looking For
* A degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in a life science or biomedical discipline
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to distil complex scientific information into clear and engaging narratives
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset
* Previous experience in medical writing or communications (internships, placements, or freelance) is a plus but not required
