Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their client's Aberdeen team - a leading Scottish provider of high-quality textile and linen services.

This is a hands-on role where you\'ll keep production running smoothly, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement across the site. Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on all site equipment
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability
* Use CMMS to maintain accurate records and analyse maintenance data
* Support root cause analysis and improvements to prevent recurring issues
* Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent performance
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards
* Flexibility to work weekends when needed
Qualifications
* To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer role, you will preferably have 5+ years mechanical and electrical engineering experience. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:
* Recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
* Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience (industrial production or laundry experience advantageous)
* Confident using CMMS systems
* Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented approach
* Strong communication skills and team player
* Driving licence essential
