Senior Commercial Manager - Crawley (Hybrid) - £75,000
We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join one of our clients, a leading defence and aerospace company, on their military avionics team.
You’ll work on high-profile domestic and export projects, helping shape commercial strategy and manage contracts that make a real impact. Some travel in the UK and occasionally overseas will be part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the main commercial point of contact for customers, resolving queries and building strong relationships.
* Support bid teams with proposals, pricing, and commercial strategy.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and amendments.
* Develop negotiation strategies, including payment terms and risk mitigation.
* Maintain contract baselines, ensure compliance, and support subcontract negotiations.
* Identify and manage commercial risks, issues, or disputes.
Skills & Experience
* Experience managing high-value, complex contracts.
* Knowledge of defence or civil aerospace contracting, including UK Government/export frameworks.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience across multiple contract types (R&D, development, manufacturing, support).
