Management Accountant - Contract - Ballymena, Co.Antrim
Market Leading Manufacturing Company
Interim Role - Min 6 Months Contract
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts and management information.
Key Tasks:
Management accounts
Preparation of timely and reliable management accounts and reports on a monthly basis for all areas of responsibility.
Investigate variances against budgets and provide analysis of differences.
Perform the month end process.
Complete physical stock checks & stock reconciliation variances are reported to the Group Management Accountant.
Completion of monthly reconciliations of all assigned balance sheet accounts.
Other Finance duties:
Complete the year end audit files and liaise with Auditors.
Continuous improvement of financial controls and processes.
Provide financial support to other departments as required.
The Person:
Qualified Accountant CIMA, ACA, ACCA or ICAI.
3 years' experience in preparing Management Accounts
Proficient in all Microsoft packages with strong Excel
Strong working knowledge of management accounts.
Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team
Strong communication & problem-solving skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail.Flexible and
Willing to work overtime as required.
Fulltime - Temporary Role
Early Friday Finish!
Salary - £40,000 to £45,000
