Planning Consultant Location: Manchester Sector: Architecture & Built Environment About the Practice We are a design-led architecture practice based in Manchester, working across residential, commercial, mixed-use and regeneration projects throughout the UK. Our in-house planning team plays a key role in shaping projects from early feasibility through to delivery, working closely with architects, urban designers and clients. The Role We are seeking a Planning Consultant to join our growing Manchester studio. The successful candidate will provide planning advice across a diverse portfolio of projects, supporting design teams and clients through the planning process and helping to deliver high-quality, commercially viable and policy-compliant schemes. Key Responsibilities * Provide planning advice at all stages of the development process, from site appraisal and feasibility to determination and post-consent matters * Prepare, manage and submit planning applications, including supporting statements and documentation * Undertake planning policy research and analysis at local and national levels * Liaise with local planning authorities, statutory consultees and other stakeholders * Support and attend pre-application meetings, design reviews and public consultations * Work collaboratively with architects, consultants and clients to shape design-led planning strate...
