Community & Ecosystem Intern (Hybrid – London)
Location: London Area, UK
Type: Part-Time Internship (10–20hrs/week) – Unpaid/Volunteer basis with learning credits & perks
CyberVectors is an emerging cybersecurity venture focused on building a high-impact, lean ecosystem to strengthen the security of mission-critical systems — from embedded and edge devices to cloud infrastructure.
We’re looking for 1–2 proactive, entrepreneurial interns to support our London-based community and growth efforts. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about technology, outreach, learning, and digital storytelling, and who wants to help shape cybersecurity education and innovation for engineers, professionals, and enterprises.
Role Overview
As a Community & Ecosystem Intern, you’ll contribute to outreach, brand visibility, and early-stage partnerships, while supporting the development of our Academy and Labs offerings.
You’ll also take an active role in content creation and social media, helping CyberVectors engage with learners, universities, SMEs, and innovation networks. You’ll work closely with the founder to support business case development, ecosystem growth, and learner experience across the UK and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Community & Outreach
* Identify and engage with leading universities, tech societies, and local networks
* Support events, meetups, and roundtables (online and in-person)
* Contribute to outreach materials and manage structured contact pipelines
* Build visibility with SMEs, startups, researchers, and innovation communities
* Assist with ecosystem mapping and early-stage partnerships
* Support the development of virtual cybersecurity labs and hands-on scenarios
* Assist with internal documentation and learner-facing materials
* Help test, refine, and document use cases for education and research
* Help manage training cohorts, onboarding, and logistics
* Support content module design, challenge preparation, and project facilitation
* Contribute to building inclusive pathways for career-switchers and professionals
Social Media & Content Creation
* Assist with content planning, visuals, and digital storytelling
* Draft LinkedIn posts, updates, and community highlights
* Create simple graphics or carousels using tools like Canva
* Maintain brand tone and messaging consistency across channels
* Support newsletters and content calendar development
Qualifications
Required
* Current student or recent graduate in Cybersecurity, Engineering/IT, Innovation, Business, Policy, or related fields
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and self-management skills
* Comfortable with digital tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Canva, Trello, Zoom, etc.)
* Able to work independently in a lean, fast-moving setup
Preferred
* Experience with student societies, university clubs, or tech communities
* Interest in cybersecurity, education, or digital ecosystems
* Familiarity with social media strategy (especially LinkedIn)
* Content creation experience (copywriting, graphics, or communication projects)
* Passion for learning, career development, or tech-for-good initiatives
