Finance Business Partner
Location: Solihull
Full-Time/Permanent
Salary: £40,000-£45,000
On behalf of our client we're recruiting for a commercially-minded Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and collaborative finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting cost control, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across the business.
As Finance Business Partner, you will take ownership of the preparation and reporting of corporate cost financials, working closely with senior stakeholders. You will be a key contributor in month-end processes, forecasting, and strategic planning, providing meaningful insights that help drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the financial reporting and analysis of corporate costs
Prepare and post month-end journals and working files, including variance analysis
Partner with managers to manage Opex and Capex actuals and forecasts
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset registers, and intercompany statements
Present monthly financial performance to SLT
Calculate and communicate internal recharges to business units and raise supporting invoices
Support year-end audit with timely and accurate documentation
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and financial controls
Skills & Requirements:
ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified, or equivalent relevant experience
Proven experience in management accounts and financial business partnering
High attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to senior leadership
Solid Excel skills
Positive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
