Prime Life Night Care Assistant Role
Prime Life is seeking passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Night Care Assistant on a full-time basis. We currently have several vacancies and are eager to meet suitable candidates for interviews.
This position is based at Loran House Care Home in Hull. The home is designed to cater to 46 residents with a range of age-related, physical, and mental health conditions, requiring dignified support from our caring team. We also offer a reablement service within the community, supporting individuals with short-term respite care following hospital discharge to ensure a safe and supported return home.
Ideal candidates should be patient, understanding, and respectful of residents' individual abilities to promote independence.

Responsibilities
* Assisting residents with personal hygiene and bedtime routines
* Conducting routine welfare checks during the night to ensure safety and well-being
* Supporting residents with dining, nutrition, and hydration needs
* Encouraging safe mobility around the home using aids and equipment
* Providing companionship and friendship to residents
* Maintaining accurate records and completing documentation
* Engaging with a multidisciplinary team to promote residents' health and well-being
* Welcoming family members and assisting with their inquiries
Candidate Requirements
We seek individuals with a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a difference. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided. Candidates must be patient, understanding, and respectful of residents' individual needs, especially as residents may have age-related, health, mental health, or physical disabilities.
