An established, UK-wide, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Structural Design Engineer to join their growing team based in Prestwick. This opportunity is well suited to an engineer with approximately 2–5 years’ experience and a strong foundation in structural design.
The role will involve working on a diverse range of projects across sectors such as residential, education, and refurbishment, alongside broader multidisciplinary schemes. The consultancy is open to candidates from all structural backgrounds and places strong emphasis on technical development, collaboration, and long-term career progression. You will be involved in projects from early concept through to delivery, producing structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports while working closely with experienced engineers and other design disciplines.
Applicants should hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have experience within a UK consultancy environment. A good understanding of current design codes and structural software is required, along with strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience, along with structured support towards Chartership through ICE or IStructE.
