Foyle Gloucester requires 2 packing operatives based in the Box Room, at our Cinderford site in the Forest of Dean. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Red Meat processing Companies in the UK and Ireland. The successful applicants will receive full training for this role.
Duties to include (but not limited to):
· Moving boxes and trays up to 28kg
· Stacking boxes and trays on designated pallets
· Using pallet pump trucks to move completed pallets from Box Room to Despatch area
· Undertaking metal detection checks
Essential Criteria:
· Wiling to learn new skills
· To work effectively within a team
· Ability to work in a tidy and safe manner
· Ability to undertake manual handling tasks
· Ability to work within health and safety guidelines
· Flexible approach to working hours
Packing Operatives based within the Boning Hall work on a shift system based on a 5-week rota, 10-hour days (excluding breaks), Monday to Friday based on 4 days per week. Start time is 07:15.
The rate paid for this role is £12.71 (based on national living wage plus 50p). Full on the job training will be given to the successful applicants.
