We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive prescription clerk to join our team. To be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of prescription requests for the entitled population, liaising effectively with patients, clinicians, pharmacies and extremal healthcare providers.
Duties can include, but are not limited to, the processing of repeat prescriptions in electronic and hard copy format, including online requests and internal tasks. Your role is crucial to improving patient care by ensuring seamless prescription processing and synchronizing repeat medications. · Process routine prescription requests (via Syst1, email and paper repeats) within 2 working days of receipt, also processing queries.
· Manage prescription queries accordingly.
· Liaise with Pharmacy, care co-ordinators and clinical team with any areas of concern.
· Liaise with pharmacy team relating to any queries.
· Liaise with chemists, patients, nursing homes and hospitals when needed.
* Synchronize medicines that are on repeat, so they all finish at the same time.
* Any other reasonable administrative duties as directed by the Practice Manager or Partners.
* Scheduled tasks i.e weekly / fortnightly prescriptions.
* District nurse tasks & and adding stomer care items
* Workflow tasks.
* Organising holiday medication.
* Initial complaints and concern calls to patients.

Pay: £12.34 per hour
