Full-Time Autism Teaching Assistant - Bournemouth

This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive environment, understands the needs of pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and is committed to helping them achieve both academically and personally.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with autism and other SEN
* Promote emotional regulation, communication, and independence
* Assist the class teacher in adapting and delivering learning activities
* Help maintain a calm, structured, and positive learning space
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO
* Experience working with children or young people with autism/SEN (in school, care or youth settings)
* A patient, empathetic, and consistent approach
* The ability to follow guidance while showing initiative
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
