Role Overview
The Product Manager role is new to our client's business. We seek a passionate, knowledgeable individual who has experience in similar roles and understands the expectations. You will develop and manage the product line from conception to launch, collaborating with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to define and execute strategy. Your focus will be on delivering scalable, customer-centric solutions, optimizing workflows, and enhancing data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Positioning & Strategy: Develop and execute product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals and market trends.
2. Customer Focus: Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product improvements and new features.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, UX/UI, marketing, and sales to ensure timely delivery of features aligned with business goals.
4. Market Research & Analysis: Stay informed of industry trends to keep the product competitive.
5. Product Development: Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining requirements and tracking success metrics.
6. Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan product launches and develop positioning and messaging to drive adoption and market penetration.
7. Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to monitor performance and inform future iterations.
Additional Responsibilities
1. Define HVAC&R application strategy regionally and across sales channels.
2. Customize value propositions based on regional pain points.
3. Gather and feedback regional VOC to relevant divisions.
4. Develop application and solution-driven value propositions and roadmaps.
5. Support sales in prioritizing pipeline development.
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related; MBA is a plus.
* 5+ years in product management, especially SaaS or data platforms.
* Strong understanding of workflows and data management.
* Proven success in product development from concept to launch.
* Experience working in agile teams.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to balance technical and customer needs.
* Experience with data analytics tools is advantageous.
Location & Working Hours
This role is based at our Glasgow head office. Initially, on-site work is required during a 6-month probation, after which hybrid working (minimum 3 days in the office) can be arranged based on business needs. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with occasional UK, Taiwan, Malaysia, and USA travel.
