Role Description
A2B Aero are looking for a Part 147 B1.3 Instructor (UKCAA/EASA) as its training department has grown and is continuing to grow with our Partnership with Airbus Helicopters and their legacy fleet.
The instructor will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training sessions per UKCAA and EASA Part 147 standards. Additional responsibilities include preparing and maintaining training materials, assessing student progress, ensuring compliance with regulations, and working closely with the training team to ensure continuous improvement of course delivery. Effective classroom management and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly will be critical to success in this role.
Qualifications
In-depth technical knowledge of aviation maintenance, specifically within B1.3 scope, and proven experience with UKCAA and EASA Part 147 training standards
Strong Airbus Helicopter product knowledge (EC120/AS350/AS355/EC130/EC135/EC145/EC155/AS365)
Strong presentation, communication, and instructional skills, with the ability to clearly deliver theoretical and practical aviation training
Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and maintaining training documentation
Compliance knowledge of aviation safety standards, regulations, and procedures
Proficiency in monitoring and evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback
Relevant certifications and qualifications as a B1.3 certified engineer and/or instructor under UKCAA/EASA regulation
Previous experience in aviation instruction or training is highly desirable
