Multi-Skilled Maintenance Worker
Location: Southeast England (Various Sites) / Base: Cornford Lane, Pembury, TN2 4QU
Contracted Hours: 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday + 1 in 6 on-call rota (37 hours per week)
Salary: £27,667 per annum

The Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance, safety, and appearance of our properties are upheld to the highest standards, supporting the well-being of our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Carry out general repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and decorating
· Conduct monthly preventative maintenance
· Participate in property refurbishments
· Work with third-party contractors and utility providers when needed
· Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including use of PPE and asbestos awareness
· Maintain security across sites and follow all relevant housing legislation
· Be part of a 1 in 6 on-call rota for emergency maintenance coverage
About You
Essential:
· City & Guilds Level 2 qualification or equivalent
· Knowledge of carpentry, decoration, plumbing and electrical work
· Full clean UK driving licence
· Previous experience in a similar maintenance role
· Commitment to health & safety and safeguarding practices
Desirable:
· Willingness to undertake further training and qualifications
· Experience working in a social care or healthcare setting
