Description
Drafting payments and reconciling both bank and nominal ledger accounts
Monitoring client agreements and ensuring compliance with client-related deadlines
Maintaining purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cashbooks
Assisting in the preparation of monthly, annual, and ad hoc management accounts, as well as audit files
Drafting annual reports and calculating investor unit valuations
Supporting the review and preparation of tax and VAT returns
Performing other ad hoc duties as required by the company
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
Office based experience in an accounts environment
An interest in pursuing a career in accounts
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
