Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager looking for the next step in their career into a full Site Manager position. The role is for a main contractor for new build housing projects. The role is to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring timely delivery, quality workmanship, and full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
* Maintain high standards of quality control, housekeeping, and site safety.
* Conduct site inductions, ensure RAMS compliance, and manage local authority inspections.
* Support Contracts Manager with progress reporting, site documentation, and compliance certification.
* Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve on-site issues.
* Monitor programme schedules, forecast resources, and manage site logistics.
* Maintain secure and compliant working environments in line with CDM regulations.
Requirements:
