Carries out workforce planning and logistics for specialized one-to-one crew within Marine Operations. Follows operational guidelines and directives from Marine Operations and department leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Schedules prioritized crew assignments and rotation planning for the Marine department.
2. Provides information supporting an effective par level planning process and related procedures.
3. Designs and implements optimized solutions for fleet needs pertaining to the Marine cost center.
4. Ensures effective communication with Marine operations, department leadership, fellow team members, and crew members regarding scheduling, succession planning, recruitment, and logistics.
5. Complies with applicable rules and regulations including SQM, flag state and port state legislation, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies related to workforce planning.
6. Provides complete and accurate employee data in the Human Resources system, including performance data for succession planning.
7. Performs related duties as assigned, including any other job-related tasks as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
* Experience in workforce scheduling, planning, recruiting, and shipboard crew administration.
* Knowledge and experience in business analytics are preferred.
* Knowledge of automated human resources systems is preferred.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English, and interpret oral and written instructions.
* Ability to travel internationally and domestically.
* Educational background in Statistics, Economics, or Business from a credited college or university is preferred.
* Professional experience in workforce planning, analytics, par level planning, scheduling, or logistics services.
* Ability to determine activity sequences and resource levels to achieve long-term goals.
* Proven ability to apply optimization techniques in areas such as inventory and crew planning.
* Strong problem-solving skills using planning and reasoning, with data-driven decision-making.
* Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex and simple problems effectively.
* Quick learner with the ability to apply knowledge and skills efficiently.
* Excellent data translation skills to suggest practical solutions or process improvements.
* Effective communication skills to interact tactfully in a multinational environment.
* Proficiency in reading and writing English to understand procedures and communicate instructions.
* Working knowledge of shipboard functions, immigration, visa requirements, and applicable regulations.
* Physical ability to perform job duties, including handling, reaching, standing, walking, and sitting, with normal vision and hearing capabilities.
