Job Title: Goods In Warehouse Operative
Location: Poole
Salary: up to £29,000 based on experience
Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job type: Temporary to permanentHRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative who can support the logistic and distribution operations in our clients Warehouse based in Poole. Our clients are leading fabric designers and offer luxury wallpapers and accessories to customers all over the world.
The successful candidate must have experience with goods in processes and quality control.
Must have a forklift license or forklift experience previously.
Responsibilities:
Pack and dispatch stock with appropriate paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
Quality checking stock
Record information in written form and on the computer system
Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies as required
Supporting the Customs Warehouse function
Receive deliveries of stock, check quantity, quality and content as directed, record receipt and ensure safe and secure storage
Manual handling of stock, utilising two-man lifts and sack trucks where appropriate
Adherence to the Company Health and Safety procedures always
Any other commensurate duties as assigned by the department managementRequirements:
Must have experience in goods in
Must be computer literate including Microsoft packages
Must understand health and safety guidelines within warehouse environments
Happy to work under pressure and towards deadlines
Good level of fitness to be able to undertake significant lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of stock up to 25kgs
Experience of working with varied transporter computer systems, i.e. TNT, DHL, UPS etc is preferred
Counterbalance / Reach Truck Licence preferred but not essentialBenefits:
