Bring your skills to the table as an Associate Director in Coastal Engineering. You will play a vital role in every aspect of coastal engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. We specialise in all aspects of coastal engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. Our industry-leading coastal modelling and engineering solutions span the project lifecycle, offering value through client-side support and construction phases. Your Purpose
* Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
* Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
* Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Set quality assurance standards in design processes.
* Grow, develop, and manage coastal engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring
* Chartered Civil Engineer.
* Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Deep knowledge of coastal engineering analysis and design in the UK and internationally.
* Ability to work with global clients to develop tailored solutions.
* Promotion of technical excellence, best practices, sustainability, net zero initiatives, and digital innovation.
* Mentoring and developing junior staff.
