Closing Date 2025-09-29 Assistant Project Manager Location: Falmer, Durrington, or Chatham (travel required) Salary: £40,000 About the Role As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll support the delivery of pollution Action Plans and Asset Risk Management (ARM) schemes within the Wastewater Infrastructure team. You’ll help ensure projects are well-planned, meet governance standards, and are delivered on time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating across teams, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Support project planning, coordination, and delivery of pollution and ARM schemes. Ensure projects follow governance processes and meet quality standards. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and the Environment Agency. Monitor project risks, budgets, and timelines. Produce clear, persuasive documentation and reports. Attend performance and planning meetings to support project progress. Help identify and solve operational issues, especially at pumping stations. Knowledge & Experience: Strong understanding of project management best practices. Experience working with contractors and producing scopes of work. Familiarity with pumping stations and wastewater operations is essential. Skills: Excellent planning, scheduling, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Project and other IT tools. Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Package This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
