A multi-site manufacturing group, Brett Martin supplies material to 74 countries across 5 continents What to Expect: This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, demanding environment and as an apprentice you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the range of skills necessary to become a high quality Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician. You will be provided with a structured 4-year training programme of both on-the-job and classroom/factory based instruction leading to BTEC Level 3 in Engineering. What You Need: Applicants must be keen to pursue an engineering career and must have 7 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above to include English, Maths and a Science based subject. We are also particularly interested in hearing from applicants with A Level qualifications (Science or Maths preferred) looking for a practical path to foundation degree level and a career in engineering. Assisting maintenance personnel in carrying out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, refurbishment, improvements and modification or upgrade to plant and services in order to minimize downtime and maintain the equipment in the best possible condition. To carry out all engineering work to high engineering, quality, and safety standards. Adhere to and promote high standards of safety, housekeeping, and cleanliness in the workplace. Participate in safety training and implement safety practices learned. Engage actively in all training modules including Health & Safety in the Workplace Participate in continuous learning and improvement activities to gain comprehensive knowledge of processes and procedures.
