What the Job Involves The job involves managing a team of Social Workers and other professionals to fulfill statutory and legislative duties for the welfare of children and young people in Sefton. You will be responsible for meeting performance targets, ensuring high-quality practice with children and families, and effectively managing risk. This role requires promoting and implementing Sefton’s child care policies, using all available resources to maintain high standards and cost-effectiveness, and fostering collaborative working relationships across council teams and partners.
