About The Role
This is a part-time 22-hour weekly contract.
As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories, just like everyone else. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
Your role involves planning and implementing activities that will delight our Residents, assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encouraging social interaction and hobbies among Residents. You will do all this with a sense of kindness above all else.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably with a background in developing activity programs. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, excellent planning and organizational skills, and effective time management are essential. When communicating with Residents or colleagues, kindness and consideration are paramount.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary are required.
