Job Description
The role of the Production Coordinator is to be responsible for managing suppliers' production planning and ensuring that all customer delivery requirements are met on time and in full. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external suppliers, proactively troubleshooting production challenges to maintain smooth operations and protect on-time delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
Factory Production Planning & Coordination
* Manage and monitor factory production schedules to meet New Era EMEA demand and forecast requirements.
* Track work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods to ensure timely shipment readiness.
* Identify potential production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.
* Maintain accurate PO data within ERP/MRP systems.
Delivery Performance Management
* Ensure requested delivery dates are achieved and maintained.
* Monitor order status and proactively communicate risks to stakeholders.
* Provide regular reporting on production status, delivery performance, and risk mitigation plans.
Supplier Collaboration & Issue Resolution
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components are delivered on schedule.
* Troubleshoot supply chain or production issues that may impact on-time delivery.
* Escalate and resolve quality, capacity, or lead-time concerns with suppliers.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives with supply partners to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviours
Technical Skills
* Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (ability to develop modelling tools and manage spreadsheets)
* Knowledge of Centric software (PLM)

Education
* A Level or equivalent
* Experience within Supply Chain related field is strongly preferred.
Please note that this role is 4 days working in our Milton Keynes office, and 1 day working from home.
