Our Tutors play a vital role in supporting people with barriers to work, delivering engaging sessions that help individuals build confidence, skills, and resilience. As a Tutor Team Leader, you’ll lead, coach, and inspire a team of Tutors to deliver consistently high-quality sessions that meet customer needs and move them closer to employment.
* Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
* Location: This role can be based at any of our seven North West offices however, flexibility to travel across all locations is essential.
* Locations include: Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Crewe, Macclesfield, Preston, Skelmersdale
* A valid driving license and access to your own car are essential.
* Hours: Mon-Fri (9-5pm)

What Youll Be Doing
* Lead and support a team of Tutors, driving performance and high-quality delivery.
* Conduct structured observations of group and 1:1 sessions, providing data-driven feedback.
* Support Tutors with lesson planning, diary management, and delivery approaches.
* Promote digital learning and evidence-based content.
* Facilitate ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) sessions where required.
* Monitor quality, compliance, and customer records.
* Build positive relationships with colleagues, local networks, and stakeholders.
* Share best practice across the UK to strengthen consistency and innovation.
* Ability to embrace our values: Kindness, Respect, Integrity, and Innovation.
* Proven leadership or management experience, with a track record of achieving results through a team.
* Experience delivering and evaluating group learning sessions.
* Strong coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
* Knowledge of the local labour market and specialist support networks.
* Experience developing and maintaining high professional standards.
* Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent teaching qualification).
Desirable
* Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
* Recognised Teaching or Training qualification.
* Knowledge of the employability sector.
