About Us
At Good Shepherd Child Care Services Kindergarten, we're committed to excellence in early childhood education and care. Our Springfield Lakes centre provides a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for every child's growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop play-based curriculum in line with EYLF and QKLG
2. Cultivate inclusive environment for holistic child development
3. Support Group Leader in Pre-Kindy room
4. Collaborate with Center Manager and team
5. Foster relationships with children, families, and colleagues
6. Conduct observations and assessments to track children's progress and tailor teaching strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Requirements
7. Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
8. Current Teacher's Registration (Queensland)
9. Strong understanding and application of the Early Years Learning Framework
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Current First Aid, CPR, and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
Role
12. Part-time: 5 days a week, 6 hours a day (with the option for shorter hrs)
13. Pre-Kindy room
14. Collaborative work environment with an experienced Group Leader and a supportive Centre Manager
